Meet the Geek Boy. My son. The man in the Pooh Jammies.
Yes, that’s right. Winnie the Pooh. The Geek Boy has always loved Pooh Bear. He says it’s because they have so much in common. Both are stout. Both are round. Both love to eat. The Geek Boy is a bit taller, of course, and he’s got a beard. I think somewhere deep down he’d like to be Amish, but he’s too addicted to modern conveniences to convert. Thankfully! Because he uses the modern conveniences in my kitchen, the one’s I have no clue how to operate, and creates wonderful meals.

“You know, while you were gone the Geek Boy had dinner waiting for me every night when I came home from work,” said City Boy recently.
“Is that a fact?” I replied. I’m not sure if he thought that little comment would spur me into the kitchen to create something or not. It’s completely safe for you to assume that it did not, in fact, lure me into that odd little room with the strange appliances. After all, as I’ve said before, it’s only here because it came drawn into the floor plans.

When the Geek Boy was four years old, he looked up at me one day and said, “Mommy, I never want to grow up to be a daddy.”
“Why is that, honey?” I asked, all concerned.
“Because I don’t ever want to cook!”
“Oh, sweetie, maybe you’ll find a nice wife who likes to cook, then you’ll be off the hook.”

Ladies, you may now bow to my supreme mothering abilities. Does this not look absolutely delicious??? I assure you I licked every last bit of powdered sugar from the plate so that no one had to do dishes. And for those girls young enough to want to find a man who cooks…for a small fee I may be able to set you up!

Is that liver patte on a strawberry? Mmmmmm.
No, you nut, it’s chocolate cream! And it was delicious!
Hey– tell “Geek Boy” that a man who can cook, give a good massage, and carry on intelligent conversation will get him ALL the women!
Oh- maybe I shouldnt have said that huh Mom? hehe
Dear Husband cooks (was a 4 star chef,) gives massages, (took massage courses,) can converse on a multitude of things, AND he truly LOVES horses. Tracey, HOW did I get so lucky? AND he is a looker! ~whew!~
Hmmm. Now that I think about it, I think I am going to go and converse a wee bit with my looker of a Wonder Hubby!
Catch ya later- go eat some more chocolate ice cream for us!
He’s going to grow up to be like my hubby. Lucky lady out there!
Wow, I am totally impressed! Geek Boy rocks! That’s pretty cool!! And it looks YUMMMMMY! Send him down this way!
Looks great! He will make some girl one day really happy!
