Can you smell my breath from there? You ought to be able to! This sucker is HUGE! Notice the little nibbles out of that clove? I just couldn’t help myself, it was so tempting that I had to bite into it on the drive home yesterday. I wonder if that forbidden fruit was actually a clove of garlic? I wouldn’t be surprised…
Darling missed a great day. Not that sales were too terribly high, but it didn’t rain a drop on us. Hooray! And business was steady with a constant trickle. I got a huge amount of networking done. I always enjoy networking, don’t you? For you guys, networking is a fancy term for girls yakking it up. And since Darling wasn’t there with her camera, I felt it only right of me to take the few quiet moments and sneak around the market and take advantage of some photo opportunities.
Our market manager is a preschool teacher during the school year. She snagged up this adorable little vendor and had her help ring the morning bell.
The adorable little vendor actually belongs to this couple at Moondance Organics. They gave me that delicious head of garlic yesterday, so blame them in you’re smelling my breath.
This band showed up in the afternoon and they were GOOD!
Look closely and you’ll see Mica (pronounced Meeka) peeping out from behind her flowers.
Mica sent me home with a stunning bouquet of flowers a couple weeks back.
Not only does Mica grow a drool worthy garden, she makes these fantastic felted wool slippers!
I’ve got to go finish eating my garlic toast for breakfast now. No, I didn’t put garlic on my toast (oh, but that would be good, too!) I just have left over garlic mouth from eating that clove yesterday! I’d probably best brush my entire mouth before today’s party.
Oh, yes…there’s a party today! Grandpa Wayne’s 90th, and Grandma’s got a huge shin dig planned with over 100 people saying they’ll be in attendance. Plus, one of the world’s best young magicians will be in attendance; Sterling the Majestic. Sterling won the junior world championship the same year he decided to take up magic. He’s a super nice kid, too. I’ll take pics of him sawing someone in half, okay? Better be sure to come back for that!
Y’all have a blessed Sunday!
