I’m a bit slow this morning. I spent the better part of yesterday on the road between here and Seattle. Then I had to stop and chat with friends along the way, of course. Once home I realized just how behind I was on getting things done if I want to go to Kiger Fest next week. I mean…I’ve got to print T shirts and felt a couple more kiger horses, make lip balms and lotions, label boxes…and the list goes on.
But guess why I was in Seattle yesterday? Guess what I got?
Yup. City Boy bought me a truck. It’s an 80 something…heh, I’m so good with these truck things. The age of a horse I’d remember, but the year of the truck? In one ear, out the other. Pretty slippery in there. But I do know that it’s a diesel, an automatic, and in my driveway. Oh, and it has two tanks which is good because it guzzles enough gas that I need one tank just to drive to town, and the other to drive home. I may be forced to learn to make bio-diesel in my kitchen!
